They have Carl's Jr. here in the Midwest, but they call it Hardee's. Just like Best Food's Mayonnaise is Hellman's, and Dryer's Ice Cream is Edy's. Weird!!!
I'm wondering which came first, since we here in SoCal all know the story of Carl Karcher, who got his start in Orange County. I'm wondering if he merged with Hardee's, or one bought out the other, or . . . ? This looks like a job for Wikipedia!
